As the founder and Medical Director of McKeown Medical, Darren has built the clinic around his signature approach to facial rejuvenation, pairing decades of clinical experience with a refined aesthetic eye. He performs thousands of dermal filler treatments each year, making him one of the most experienced injectors in the UK, and his work has been recognised across national media and industry guides including Tatler, Hello!, and BBC One.
Background
Darren was captivated by the transformative effects that the emerging injectables, lasers, and peels had on the ageing face, without the need for patients to undergo surgery.
It was a new frontier in aesthetics, and it changed his perspective forever. Soon after, Darren became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), but as his career progressed, and he spent more time learning about minimally invasive aesthetics, he came to realise that this was his calling and soon set up his own private practice in Glasgow, founding McKeown Medical. Now in his 19th year of clinical practice, Darren has built the clinic into one of Scotland’s leading aesthetic medicine destinations.
