Skin resurfacing with minimal down time? What if you want to improve your skin - reducing lines and wrinkles - but don`t want to commit to the downtime or risks of full resurfacing? Then say hello to the Halo laser!

We`ve been working with the Halo for a couple of years now and have moved on from the manufacturer`s recommended settings and developed our own treatment protocols to optimise results for our patients. Since doing this, we have significantly elevated the results.

This is one of our patients who wanted skin resurfacing but didn`t have the downtime for full resurfacing, We did a Halo package that involved five days of redness and puffiness following the treatment and this is her a couple of weeks later - see the dramatic improvement in lines, wrinkles and skin firmness? At her follow up appointment the patient said, "This has changed my life!"

This wonderful lady came to see the equally wonderful Dr Rhona a couple of weeks ago for some injectables.

The main issue for her was the lines around the mouth, so Dr Rhona used some filler to support the area around the mouth and between the nose and lips. She also had a pretty deep frown line that was a little too deep for muscle relaxing injections on their own to deal with, so she used a little filler here too.

She came back to the clinic for follow up today looking and feeling resplendent! She is over the moon with her results. What do you think?

She had problems with sun damage, texture and fine lines etched into the surface of her skin - especially around the mouth area. Once again we used the full field laser approach to remove the entire surface of the skin, removing the fine lines and wrinkles with it.

We love all of our patients at the clinic, but sometimes you get one that is just even extra special - like this gorgeous soul who visited us from Australia over the summer.

She`s had 30 years of Australian sun which had really taken its toll on her skin and she really hated the way she looked. We did full laser resurfacing for her and we also added a little volume to her face too.

Before she went back to Australia she even went to get her make up done to come and let us see how she looked - feeling and looking FABULOUS. She was over the moon with her results.

You know we like to look after our team at McKeown Medical! This is our clinic nurse, Therese, who many of you will know if you`ve had surgery or laser at the clinic.

Therese was unhappy with her lower face and neck. When you look at her face, however, a major contributing factor to her unhappiness with the appearance of her neck was the lack of projection at her chin. The very talented Dr Rhona treated this for her using some filler to improve the projection of her chin and definition of her jawline. This is her before and immediately after.

She is gorgeous both before and after, but notice how much better her lower face and neck looks with the subtle improvements to the chin and jaw?
