How much can we rejuvenate the skin without any down time? This much!
This is one of our lovely patients before and after a course of BBL treatment. BBL is one of our favourite treatments in the clinic, excellent for reducing uneven pigments in the skin, reducing redness, sun damage, pores and improving the quality of the skin. The best part is that there is no downtime with this treatment!
We usually recommend a course of three sessions and follow up with a maintenance session every six months to maintain the results. What do you think of this patient`s skin transformation?
The wait is almost over! After 2.5 years of construction, phase 1 of our new hospital project is almost ready to move into!
When we move in we will be expanding our services beyond aesthetics and into wider healthcare. The first new service we are introducing is vascular surgery, treating varicose veins.
As always, we won’t be doing the same as everyone else - we will be the first in Scotland to introduce VenaSeal™, which is the gold standard treatment in the USA but no one in Scotland has been doing it... until now! VenaSeal™ is even less invasive than other varicose vein treatments, it causes less pain than other treatments and you can literally get up from the treatment couch, walk out, and get on with your life without having to wear any compression garments.
And, as you would expect, we have an incredible new doctor delivering the treatments - Dr Alex Vesey. As well as being an academic over-achiever, Alex is an all round lovely doctor that I know our patients will love! Here is a little video of him talking about varicose veins... and a sneak peek of some of the interiors at the hospital!
Thank you so much to this super star patient! We posted Janice’s before and afters earlier this week and now we can share with you a little video diary she kept of her recovery from the procedure. She had a pretty standard recovery we would expect from a BBL / Halo combination treatment with redness and puffiness for about five days.
At the end of this journey it’s still not the final result, but most people can get back to normal activities after that whilst they wait for the results to improve. Janice is literally over the moon with her results - what do you think of her journey?

We`ve been working with the Halo for a couple of years now and have moved on from the manufacturer`s recommended settings and developed our own treatment protocols to optimise results for our patients. Since doing this, we have significantly elevated the results.
This is one of our patients who wanted skin resurfacing but didn`t have the downtime for full resurfacing, We did a Halo package that involved five days of redness and puffiness following the treatment and this is her a couple of weeks later - see the dramatic improvement in lines, wrinkles and skin firmness? At her follow up appointment the patient said, "This has changed my life!"
She couldn`t believe the improvement we achieved with so little downtime. We`re going to post her video diary in the next few days so you can see her journey day by day.

Fine lines and wrinkles are the bane of so many women`s lives. They are usually the result of years of good living - time in the sun, and the odd cigarette too.
When you want to get rid of them, nothing does it quite like laser resurfacing. This is our lovely patient before and three months after a full resurfacing procedure. She is over the moon with her new skin.

This wonderful lady came to see the equally wonderful Dr Rhona a couple of weeks ago for some injectables.
The main issue for her was the lines around the mouth, so Dr Rhona used some filler to support the area around the mouth and between the nose and lips. She also had a pretty deep frown line that was a little too deep for muscle relaxing injections on their own to deal with, so she used a little filler here too.
She came back to the clinic for follow up today looking and feeling resplendent! She is over the moon with her results. What do you think?
This is another of our lovely patients who`s kindly allowed us to share her before and after photos.
She had problems with sun damage, texture and fine lines etched into the surface of her skin - especially around the mouth area. Once again we used the full field laser approach to remove the entire surface of the skin, removing the fine lines and wrinkles with it.
This is her a few months after treatment, loving life with her fresh new skin. What do you think?
So many people decide that the new year is the time for them to consider a new face with a facelift!
If that`s your mindset, now is the time to be thinking about it. We`re booked up for surgeries until the new year, but we have some consutation slots left so now is the time to start planning.

We love all of our patients at the clinic, but sometimes you get one that is just even extra special - like this gorgeous soul who visited us from Australia over the summer.
She`s had 30 years of Australian sun which had really taken its toll on her skin and she really hated the way she looked. We did full laser resurfacing for her and we also added a little volume to her face too.
Before she went back to Australia she even went to get her make up done to come and let us see how she looked - feeling and looking FABULOUS. She was over the moon with her results.
